Just what I needed

Spent time with
seahawk_capt and WeeLara this evening. Though I got there too late to join them for dinner, we did play by the fountains at Valley View, then it was off to the Disney Store to hug plush things of much cuteness and sit on the floor to watch Mary Poppins on the giant video screen.
Lara was a tad vexed that my clunky clogs couldn't quite allow me to sit Indian style properly (i.e. with my feet under me)... but fortunately we got past it.
Looks like I'm gonna have to reprogram my brain regarding the monniker "Lumpy." The new Pooh movie we saw trailer for has Lumpy the Heffalump in it... and he is hypnotically, irrevocably adorable. Here's hoping it's not impossibibble to get past my squick-factor of the name itself.
So if the evening was a hot fudge sundae of fun and frolic, the cherry and sprinkles on top came after we parted ways. My car was at the opposite end of the mall from theirs. I hugged them both, and as I walked away I kept hearing her wee voice shouting, "BYE!" at the top of her lungs every 3 seconds. I waved and blew kisses until I couldn't see or hear her anymore.
Imagine my surprise when I was almost to the door and I heard my name. I turned, and there they were! "She had to have another hug and kiss from you," explained her sweet papa. I dropped to my knees and she ran pell mell into my arms, letting me give her one more squnch for the road.
Yep, that's the bestest. EVUH.
