sandmansisterOK, not sure if that evokes the creepy little girl from "Poltergeist" or an Aerosmith tune. ANYway... the derby conference in Chicago was great. A huge brain drain, but well worth it for the derby cause. Plus it was great to met more rollerchicks from across the country. Got tons of stickers, some pins and a couple of t-shirts. w00t for roller-swag!
The allergy-sniffly thing I caught in Cleveland got worse, though. By the time we landed in Chi-Town on Friday I had no voice. Especially awkward as I was to be my league's mouthpiece. Plus I didn't get to take part in derby girl karaoke madness at the meet-n-greet. Boo.
