It is DONE (and so am I)

Well, the move is done. Now comes the hard part—getting settled. Moving and remodeling at the same time is no picnic. And as much as moving sucks, it's infinitely harder when you're moving into an existing household.
So for now I'll be playing a weird Jenga/Tetris hybrid until we make space for all my sundry belongings. Gee, I was really proud of the 5 car loads of crap I dumped at the garage sale... now it doesn't seem like quite enough! I'm sure there will be more tossing of junk. Good times.
But all in all, I am happy to be with my
arbiter_of_cool. We have already had the "There will be NO dumping!" conversation. I'd be homeless, and he'd have done a lot of grunt work for nothing. So I guess we're stuck. ;-)
Looks like the contractors will start creating the master bedroom in the next week or so. Having a real closet will help matters infinitely. Today, however, we'll be working on the kitchen and utility room, as those also affect the housemates.
Good thing I'm dating a massage therapist. Just sayin'.
As always, big love to one and all (and sorry I don't have time to read/catch up).
