Moving Mania

Well, it's done. I'm moving on August 27th (address & new contact info forthcoming, though of course cell number remains the same). On my way over to meet with the landlord, I saw a rainbow - full arc bisecting the entire sky. Made me happy. Then I glanced over my shoulder for one last look at saw a faint double.

Here's hoping I don't bungle the whole deal entirely. Having parents for landlords is a whole different gig and I'm out of practice in this whole real world thing. :/

Bah. Enough of that. I have plenty to worry about without going there. Like my burgeoning To Do List, for instance. ( Cut because I don't know how to do nifty bullets, indents or tables in HTML: )

Hopefully I won't be too beat after skate practice tonight to do the quickie items slated for this evening. While I'm at it, better hope I don't have to work late tonight and/or miss practice. I have a deadline looming... and jury duty tomorrow. Ugh.

Progress... well, sort of

Because I desperately need to see progress in black and white as I drown in a sea of cardboard, intoxicated by the smell of wicked giant black markers...

No, I didn't get the Tuesday items done. Worked late tonight; would have been v. late to skate practice. Opted instead to write the press release for our derby bout as it's just over two weeks out (arglebargle! arglebarg!). Also forgot about laundry started over the weekend. Had to dry a washed load before it mildewed, and finish the last one.

Maybe I can get to an open skate on Saturday after repacking storage and before the bachelorette party... last day to qualify for the bout is Sunday. Mneh.

Please think non-jury selection thoughts for me tomorrow...
